Ask any Medical Doctor in the World and they will say having a balanced and nutritional diet is of the up most importance in keeping lean and healthy.
Its really NOT rocket scientist with eating right. Eating low fat foods and low carbohydrates along with an array of vegetables and fruit is the way to go.
Particularly, with vegetables that are the green, leafy ones are the best. And it does wonder in keeping your body cleansed.
Also, remember do not forget to drink plenty of water during the day. This is really important because when you keep your body hydrated you will get good electrolyte balance and your skin is more supple and longer lasting over time.
I want to bring up an important issue many people really have wrong. And that is that you can have that Pizza and Ice Cream. There is nothing wrong with this. Actually I encourage it, but just make sure that you do it in moderation with sensible proportions.
Like last week I splurged on a loaded Pizza with my wife. We really went a little too far. But the next day I balanced it out with some good Salads and some intense Running. Be sure not to do this everyday but once or twice a month is not harmful if you keep it in perspective.
Learning to lose weight can be a lifelong endeavour for many. I am here to guide you with a little bit of tips here and there. But in the end you and only you can determine how lean and healthy you want to be !!

I tell you what….. It has been a frustrating past month or so for me. I am out here in the hot California Desert and my family and I have a nice Pool right near the mountains. Well, for some dang um reason when I go swimming my ears just get stopped up later on in the day.
It has really gotten bad and now I cant even get my hair wet in the Pool because my ears will get stopped up for a few days. And I will not be able to even hear anything!!
This has hindered my workout schedule as I love to include swimming as an activity to get in shape and lose weight effectively. Swimming is probably one of the top 5 overall exercises to lose weight and stay in good cardiovascular shape. One of the reasons why it is better than my beloved exercise of Running is that it is easy on your limbs. The Water in a pool gives you less impact on your knees and joints.
Whereas Running on the roads over time can cause significant wear and tear on the knees, feet, and ankles as well as the shins. When I do run I try to stay on the desert sand out here. We have a Canyon right next to our house that runs thru the Santa Rosa Mountains and it is really a great way to stay in shape and keep your joint in tact.
But I do love swimming and all I have to do to use it is walk out y back door.
I will try to find some solution for this……maybe some kind of ear plugs or something to keep the water out of my ear canal.
In meantime, I suggest for those who dont have similar ear canal problems to put on those trunks and do a little swimming. You will notice a loss in belly fat over time as well as progress in your Cardiovascular System.

Well, its been beautiful the last couple of days out here in the California Desert. The temperature has been in the low 90s which is really low out here for this time of year.
For me as well as probably many of you losing weight can be tough and is an ongoing process through our lives. In the last 20 years or so in my Life, it has been a issue for me . But honestly I take it on as a Passion to work on my weight and stay healthy and in shape.
Recently, my Wife and I purchased a jogging stroller from Target for $110 !! Yes it is a little expensive but honestly it is going to be so worth it. We had a blast me and my little beautiful 6 month old daughter. At first the Stroller was a little awkward to use but after a mile or so I definitely got the hang of it.
I have a great feeling that both of us and my wife will be using this device very very much in the next couple of years. My daughter every time really loves the ride as she peacefully falls asleep when we make our rounds on the edge of the Santa Rosa Mountains.
Losing weight in an effective way and losing body fat can be a challenge but it can be fun. Its all your attitude and perspective on things.
This new stroller for our daughter is a definite example of how losing weight and staying in shape can be both fun and beneficial !!

Hello Folks…My name is Rob and I want to personally Welcome you to my Blog. A little about myself : I have been a health and fitness nut most of entire Life. I started running 10ks when I was 9 years old and started working out with weight when I was 14 yrs old with my brothers. Even though I have always had strength and endurance I still could NEVER quite stay slim. Losing weight and keeping the fat off my body has been a never ending battle and one that I fight each and every day.
My weight has fluctuated in my adult life from 170 lbs all the way up to 250 lbs. At 5’11 that latter weight was just too much. Currently, i am about 210 lbs and I would like to lose another 15 lbs or so.
This Blog is inteneded for anybody and everybody who wants to lose weight and get in shape and eat healthy and stay healthy. I will be discussing all types of effective ways to keep the fat off and keep the lean muscle on.
I look forward to helping many of you and providing you with my own experience and experise in the these areas discussed above.
