Hey guys. I hope you are  having a good one today !! I want to keep it short today and talk about eating and  some good tips you can implement as part of your Lifestyle.

First of all , sometimes adding a fourth meal can be beneficial in your desire to be fit. This increases your body’s metabolic rate and keeps the calories burning all through the day. One might eat breakfast around 8 am, lunch at Noon, and then a in between a  3rd meal around 3 pm, and finally Dinner at 7 PM. At night time always make sure to go to bed just a little hungry. DO NOT stuff your face right before you go to sleep. This is a no-no and will cause you to pack on the fat. Believe me.

It seems to me that the ones who are the most successful at keeping fit and slim are the ones who keep their diets simple and easy to implement. Strangely enough this usually means keeping a small arrangement  of foods to use for your meals. And then mixing and matching in between that small arrangement of foods. Here is a short list to make it easier for you to stay on a healthy eating diet.

Proteins:
Egg whites with one whole egg for flavor
Grilled Chicken
Organic beef that is grass fed and NOT corn fed
Pork

Legumes:
Lentils
Black beans
Pinto beans

Vegetables:
Spinach
Asparagus
Peas
Mixed vegetables

Now this is a pretty simple group to chose from. Like I said you can mix it up a little, but this will be the foundation of what you eat. Also, you need to throw in one day a week where you eat anything your heart desires. On this day if you want a hot fudge sunday then go eat a hot fudge sunday. If you want to go to a movie and eat Baby Ruths and butter popcorn then eat it.

Just be sure not to overdue it. It is all about keeping a balance in Life. And bottom line is that  enjoying Life while keeping a healthy Mind and Body should be your long term goal . End of story !! :)

Now Iam going off to eat a caramel apple right after I finish my 4 mile run !! ;)
