Okay guys I have a confession to make. I love to eat. I make no secret of this as all my family, friends and others know how much I do love to eat. I can trace this hobby, if you want to call it that, back to when I was a  young boy. I pretty much ate my parents and other sibling out the house with my voracious appetitie.

I guess one of the reasons I gravitated to doing a lot of exercise was to have an outlet for all the eating that I do. Make NO mistake if I did not exercise on a regular basis I would be well over 300 pounds. There is no doubt about that.

For all you other guys out there dont be too alarmed or worried if you eat heartily. The main thing is try to keep the portions to a decent level and just be more discriminate in what you eat. Realize that you can have those beef enchilladas and tortilla chips washed down with an ice cold soda or beer. But if you want to do this you have to make some sacrifices. Like the next day eat a light garden salad for Lunch or go out and put an extra two miles on the end of your run.

Being smart and using commonsense is the best thing to do when eating and what to eat. Eating a hot fudge sundae every other night probably is not very smart. But eating a hot fudge sundae once a week can be just fine.

I like to look at human beings as visitors on this Earth. And everything on the Earth is to  be experienced and enjoyed as long as we keep a cool head on our shoulders.

Over indulgence has been the downfall of a lot of people and that goes for many things not just eating . So be careful and do not let it get the best of you.
