Me and my wife have been battling nasty colds for the last 4 days. Well, yesterday when my wife felt like she conquered her cold she went to workout at the local gym. Sure enough when she got home she started feeling  a little weak and today she feels really rotten.

For me, I have totally stayed away from doing any exercising until I am absolutely sure Iam over my cold.

I think it is important for all of you to take a step back when you are sick and try not to hurry back into your regimen until you have had two days in a row of feeling like your sickness has completely gone away.

Unfortunatelt my wife just did it one day, and she is no paying the price.

Your body cant go full force all the time and sometimes you just have to back off a little bit and JUT DONT DO IT !!

Well, guys I hope you are having a great Summer . For this Summer  I have scaled down my workout routine. This is mainly because my wife is a school nurse and she is off all Summer. So I have been spending time with my wife and two kids on vacations, swimming, playgrounds, potty training eating out etc…… I will say that I am running a rigorous 2 times a week for 40 minutes each run. On top of this I am doing 200 pushups everyday as well as 250 situps. This is Monday thru Friday.

And I must say even on our vacations I have been eating well proportioned meals. This has kept me at a very lean and mean 180 to 185 lbs. :)

This Fall when my wife goes back to school I will change it up a little bit  and start doing some power walking with my wife at nights with the kids in the stroller along with running and the pushups and situps.

Like I have said in the past and will say again you should adopt an exercise regimen that you can realistically perform for a long, long time. And you can change it up a little bit like I do and this will take the monotony at of it all.
