For those of you not familiar with PVCs  it stands for Premature Ventricular Contractions. Thats right I have been having heart palpitations for nearly 3 weeks almost constantly. A skipped beat here a rapid pace there and then a slow pace there, it is very discomforting.

For many of you who have read my Blog you will know a few months ago I had to go to the ER because they were so strong. I went to a cardiac specialists where they did stess test on tread mill, EKG, Ecocardiagram, and 24 hr. EKG. Everything checked out alright and structurally my heart checked out good. He said that these PVCs can affect people for a long time and are not serious at least in my case.

So they went away for a couple of months and I was fine. Then about 3 weeks ago the PVCs started again. So I went to a Cardiac specialists who deals with palpitations and is an expert on this subject.

He also said everything seemed fine with me and that these arrythymias can come and go and not be serious. He even gave me the go ahead to Run. Which I did that afternoon and felt great doing a 4 miler.

He did want to do a 30 day EKG i will wear for a month. This is just for reassurance and he is very comfortable overall with my health.

SoI will wear this monitor till April 30th. But I will continue my normal exercise and eating routine.

I just want to remind each of you to always keep up with your health and  dont avoid going to the doctor if something doesnt feel right. Guys are bad at doing this. And bottom line is……………that it is better to be safe than sorry !!
